Purpose of Trip

Teach advanced quilting skills to the women of Vietnam
Quilts including machine embroidery and crazy quilting.

Expected Format

Two days of teaching in Ho Chi Minh City and one day
trip to the rural town where the women live and quilt.

Expected Cost

As Vietnam Quilts is a non-profit organization we are
asking teachers to pay their own way and donate their
time.

Flights from the West Coast generally run between
$1000 and $1500.  Hotels range between $40 and $350 a
night.  A good mid-range hotel is about $80 per night.

Time Frame

Our first trip is planned for the end of September 2008.

Additional Travel

We encourage you to take additional time to visit the
beautiful country of Vietnam!

Application Process

If you interested in teaching, please submit a resume
along with a cover letter summarizing your quilting skill
set.

We will then match the instructor skills with the
required needs of Vietnam Quilts.
